This is a place for You and Me.

Over the course of the last seven years, I went through an interesting journey; a time filled with new experiences, people, places, challenges, and incredible opportunities. Along this path, I moved to America, became fluent in English, learned to REALLY trust God, began and ended my first serious relationship, studied abroad in Europe, earned my college degree, launched my career, and, perhaps most significantly, grew so so much!

After stretching a long fight against my perfectionist self, I have finally gathered enough courage to share my thoughts, find my voice, and hopefully inspire you, on the other side of the screen, while I unfold parts of myself into these lines.

I’ve never been one of few words. I love to talk (and write) about a variety of topics and subjects. Although I’m still finding my way around blogging in 2023, I hope this will become a place for authentic insights and compelling conversations.

For proper introductions, I’m Marina, a Brazilian creative living in the Boston area. I have a diploma in architecture, a passion for books/shows/movies, and so much appreciation, you could call it love, for any and every kind of design.

So…Welcome!

Whether it is by sharing my experiences, and insights, recommending great reads, or offering tips on random things that I, as a creative, wish I had known earlier, my hope is to ignite your desire to seek your best self every day.

One of the most valuable lessons that I have learned in the ‘short’ (people say that, but I have been feeling incredibly old lately) 23 years of my life is that perfection doesn’t exist, not in this world at least. However, there is nothing more rewarding than reaching to become a little better than we were yesterday, every day.

The only acceptable comparison EVER is between you and yesterday’s version of you! My wish is that you can find the freedom to chase your dreams, step out of your comfort zone, and get to know yourself further each day.

Everything you need is already within you, but sometimes we all need a gentle nudge. Hopefully, I can help with that!

PS: If you read through this short introduction please leave a comment. I would love to know how you ended up here, it would mean so much to me!
